- How long is the hire period? – Although the Equipment Hire Charge is for one week only, I try, where possible, to extend this to an 8-day period to allow for cheaper 72 hour transportation costs, but in extreme cases, when there is a back-to-back run on the equipment, after consultation, we ask you to pay extra for a ‘Next Day’ delivery on maybe one, or both journeys
